The Hospitalist locum tenens opportunity in North Carolina:
-Location: Ahoskie, NC
-Dates needing coverage: October 30 – November 8; Nocturnist shifts 7p-7a
-Inpatient only
-No call
-Low volume ED
-EMR: EPIC
-Average total inpatient census: 40
-Average # of patients per day, per provider: 15-20
-Average # of admissions per day, per provider: 5-7
-3 physicians per day; 1 physician on at night
-ICU/CC procedures not required
-Not expected to serve as backup to ER
-Run house codes
-23 bed surgical unit
-28 bed medical unit
-10 bed ICU
-15 bed ER
-114 bed hospital

The Hospitalist locum tenens opportunity in North Carolina:
-Location: Tarboro, NC
-Coverage needed on the following dates: 7/31, 8/2, 8/26, 9/28 – NIGHTS 7p-7a; 8/5, 8/24, 8/25 – DAYS 7a-7p
-Inpatient only
-3 physicians on during the day, 1 at night
-Average inpatient census: 15-16
-Average of 4 admissions per day, per physician
-Average of 7-8 admission at night
-ICU/CC duties (8 beds)
-Respond to house codes
-Procedures: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, intubations, and central lines – NIGHT COVERAGE ONLY
-117 bed hospital
-Level III Intermediate Care Nursery, same day surgery center, Ortho available, cardiology, ICU, Urology, OBGYN, hospitalist program
-28,000 ED visits per year
-EMR: Epic
**Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine/IM-PEDS, NC license, BLC, ACLS, NRP for Med-Peds**
