Top Hospital in Jacksonville is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist for Medical Director with experience in adult psychiatry to join a multi-disciplinary team at Baptist Health in Northeast Florida. Our Behavioral Health Department includes the full continuum of care consisting of inpatient, PHP/IOP, and outpatient programs for children, adults and seniors. The multidisciplinary team works collaboratively at each level of care to provide the best possible services for patients. The Medical Director provides oversight in key areas of Physician Leadership, Patient Care, and Quality of Care, which comprises 1/3 of their time. In addition to the Medical Director duties, this position includes 2/3 time providing clinical care in an inpatient setting. Two Associate Medical Directors, one in the inpatient domain, and one in outpatient, assist the Medical Director with specific operational responsibilities in the areas of training new staff and residents, and managing denials and appeals.
