Description
Monterey California a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is needed to provide specialized mental health care to the Emergency Department. The duties and responsibilities entail seeing patients in the ED and on all services throughout the hospital as a consultant. Candidates must be comfortable with the interface between medical and psychiatric illnesses and be able to prescribe treatment accordingly, and training to the patient and family as necessary; serve as a resource in evaluation and management of psychiatric disorders for primary care staff in the ED and other services.
