The locum tenens Neurology opportunity near Pittsburgh, PA…
-Duration: February 25 start, on-going for 90+ days (per your availability)
-Location: 65 miles East of Pittsburgh
-Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-4p
>no nights, no call
-Scope: Outpatient clinic, Physician will be working with patients of General Neurology, Concussion, Epilepsy, Stroke, MS & performing EMG’s.
-Patients: 15-20 per day, Visits include new patients, follow ups, impact testing, DBS/VNS visits.
-EMR: Epic
-Group: Pain and Neurology Services combined with support staff crossed trained in both areas. 2 Pain Physicians, 2 Pain CRNP, 1 PA-C, 1 Neurologist, 2 Neurology CRNP’s, 9 Nurses, 1 MOA, 1 CST & 2 Radiology Tech, 7 Front/Discharge Registrars, 1 Coder
-Health system: A Physician led, professionally managed health system with nearly 5,000 dedicated employees who serve more than a half-million patients each year, 545-bed flagship hospital and teaching hospital
>Outpatient clinic is a well-established thriving clinic. Primary Stroke Center certification – in-house rapid stroke alert team, Telestroke, State of art EEG lab, EMU – 3 bed unit with dedicated EMU technicians.
-Required: Board certified or board eligible, Pennsylvania license
