Standard Qualifications: MEDICAL CITY DALLAS RN - Registered Nurse - Clinical Systems Analyst - Surgery - Surgical Services JOB SUMMARY: The RN (Registered Nurse) Clinical Systems Analyst in the Surgery (Surgical Services - OR) department will be responsible for: OR Charge entry and reconciliation for OR times, supplies, and implantsReview daily invoices and billing reports for discrepancies Troubleshoot billing issues, investigate and remedy daily time charge, supply and implant omissions B atch errors on daily batch report, and daily Ancillary Charge Reports for surgical services departments Works closely with OR Director, Manager, Supervisors, IS Analyst, and CRM Member of SMAT committee, OR Leadership Team Review of Supply Management Action Team (SMAT) business with CRM on a weekly basis and communicate with OR Leadership Team Management of onetime approvals for surgical services (supplies, implants, etc.) bulk purchase negotiations, tracking of usage to cost from inventory monthly, contract negotiations Communicates new and deleted/replacement supplies and implants to OR IS Analyst for Meditech OR inventory/preference card maintenance, as well as information related to OR billing changes/updates Backup for OR Module Inventory Maintenance and statistical reporting Coordinates with OR Supervisors and Management for stock and consignment Inventory Control, (concurrent and twice annual Inventory counts), Consignment Agreements and equipment contracts and service agreements Maintenance and reporting of statistics related to Orthopedic Initiative, Tissue/Implant logs, and tracking of Implant utilization Maintenance of Implant/explant data logs Documentation and reporting of HIPAA disclosures related to vendors present in OR and implant registrations Review of vendor packets for permanent badge issuance VIRA requesting for smart item number (SIN) and procedure Code (CDM) set up for new and existing supplies and implants Review, assign, and maintain C-Codes for supplies and implants as CMS changes are published Responsible for maintenance and integrity of OR clinical information systems, Meditech and PC based perioperative systems. This includes coordinating integration of OR systems with internal and external systems within the HCA market network and liaison to other hospital departments, including, but not limited to, HIM, Finance, Materials Management, Admitting, Infection Control and Risk Management For additional information contact Jamie Revill at xxxxxxxxxxx* or xxxxxxxxxxx*
