Description: Reporting to the ED Director the Manager Emergency Services has responsibility for the management of a specialized patient care area with 24 hour accountability. The major functions include assessing, planning, organizing, staffing directing, evaluating, coordinating, reporting and budgeting for the unit. The nurse manager may assume designated responsibilities for the director in their absence. The nurse manager may render professional clinical care to patients as appropriate.
