Registered Nurse (PRN II) Unit Assignment: Acute Rehab PRN II Defined: See information below Shifts are (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am) Compensation: Base Pay is exceptionally "higher" than normal base pay for level of commitment required as stated below in PRN II Defined Section. TIER SHIFT COMMITMENT (Minimum) *WEEKENDS (Minimum number of 12 hour shifts that must fall on a weekend per month) HOLIDAYS (Minimum number of holidays that must be worked in a calendar year) DIFFICULT TO STAFF (Minimum number of difficult to staff days that must be worked in a calendar year) RATE PER HOUR 1 2 shift per 4 week schedule 1 1 Major 1 Per Grade & Pay Scale 2 4 shifts per 4 week schedule 2 1 Major & 1 Minor 2 Per Grade & Pay Scale 3 6 shifts per 4 week schedule 3 2 Major & 1 Minor 3 Per Grade & Pay Scale *If Unit is staffed on weekends Weekends Holidays Difficult to Staff Days Friday 7P - 7A Major New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day Super Bowl, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, New Year's Eve, President's Day, Valentine's Day, Halloween, others as predefined by the department Saturday 7A - 7P 7P - 7A Sunday 7A - 7P 7P - 7A Minor Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Day After Thanksgiving § This position is non-benefited and does not accrue PTO. § This position will not be eligible for critical staffing differentials or annual/market increases. Job Duties: *Responsible for the delivery of nursing care to the rehabilitation populations utilizing the nursing process. *Special populations include vascular, wound care, GI, ophthalmology, and bariatric surgeries. *The Registered Nurse (RN) oversees and directs the care of LPN's and assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. *When the need arises, the RN will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
