We feature an accredited Chest Pain Center, certified Stroke Center, dedicated Heart Center, Bone and Joint Center, and Memorial's maternity center, Special Beginnings. Memorial Hospital (an HCA facility) is located less than 20 miles from the beaches of Jacksonville. We are the premiere medical facility in the Jacksonville area featuring a Certified Chest Pain Center, Certified Stroke Center as well as a dedicated Heart Center. Memorial Hospital is also a U.S. News and World Report Best Hospital. Due to increased volume and our upcoming transition to Level II Trauma accreditation, recruitment is underway for strong, experienced OR Clinical Team Leader. The Clinical Team Leader provides coordination for the efficient delivery of care in the assigned area of surgical specialty. His/her primary functions involve energetically and dynamically supporting the staff and physicians in acquiring the necessary equipment and training to deliver evidence based surgical interventions. The Clinical Team Leader will communicate directly with surgeons to coordinate the introduction of new products. He/she will coordinate with the Assist Director and Director in the investigation and recommendation of capital equipment. The Clinical Team Leader will be a resource to staff and leadership on current practice issues. The expectation that 90% of time is devoted to direct patient care in either a scrub or circulating role. Coordinates in collaboration with the Clinical Educator orientation of new Surgery Staff in that specialty. Leads efforts to improve processes and to monitor quality in surgical specialty. Functions as Charge Nurse as necessary. Serves as a resource with a high level of knowledge and competence in the assigned area of surgical specialty both in a scrub and circulating role. Assures that necessary supplies and equipment are available for scheduled cases. Coordinates new product trials with the OR Supply Chain Manager as required.
