Additional Information about our Medical Intensive Care Unit: 12-Bed Medical ICU Nurse to patient ratios based on acuity (very fast pace) Patient turnover ranges from 2 - 12 days Types of patients: Acutely ill on chronic disease; COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MSOF Designated stroke unit Excellent physician relations with our Critical Care/ Pulmonologists Part of LGMC Shared Governance councils Team work enriched environment focused on fostering educational opportunities and specialty certification Leaders on this unit have a passion for supporting nurses in reaching their professional goals, excellent practice, and collegial relationships
