Additional information about our Cardiac ICU: 12-Bed CICU Nurse to patient ratio based on acuity Patient turnover ranges from 2 days - 2 months depending on patient conditions Types of patients you will see on this unit: STEMI, Cardiogenic Shock, and Post Cardiac Arrest Nurses in this unit will be trained for Therapeutic Hypothermia, Impella, Intra-aortic Balloon Pump, and Continuous renal replacement therapy New leader on this unit with a passion for supporting nurses in reaching their professional goals, excellent practice, and collegial relationships Growth opportunities include: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification and participation in Shared Governance Councils
