Standard Qualifications: Dominion Hospital, the only freestanding mental health care facility in Northern Virginia, leads the region in short-term mental health services for children age 5-12, adolescents age 13-17 and adults age 18 and older, as well as therapeutic programs for eating disorders through our Reflections Eating Disorders Treatment Center s. Coordination of care with physician. Actively collaborates with other units and program staff, physicians and members of other department to facilitate provision of optimal patient careProvide patient education while administering medicationPractice safe medication administration consistent scanning of patient and medicationsScan all medications and patients using eMarFollow facility established guidelines for reconciliation of medications on admission, during transfer and at discharge Assign and conduct appropriate individual and group interventions within the milieu for behavioral and safe management of patientsMaintains appropriate boundariesDemonstrate least restrictive interventions appropriatelyCollaborate with interdisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating treatment, patient safety and programsAssess patient's response to treatment and safety interventions and accurately document interventions and patient's response to intervention Assist patients and families to understand the diagnosis, prescribed treatment, and safe management of symptoms related to specific mental disorders through health teachingDocument against the interventions within the Recovery Plan Utilize teaching skills related to psycho educational and medical interventions and patient safety needs with
