Regional holds Joint Commission advanced certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Get with the Guidelines- Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. It is a certified Chest Pain Center , Certified Atrial Fibrillation Program , county-designated STEMI (heart attack) Receiving Center, ACoS accredited Community Cancer Center, designated Lung Cancer Screening Center, a member of Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ECMO) and is certified by The Joint Commission in Sepsis care. The hospital has also been recognized by U.S. News and World Report and The Joint Commission as a top performing hospital. Schedule: 1.0 (40 hours per week) Shift: Mixed , rotating weekends. POSITION SUMMARY : The Clinical Educator acts to facilitate education and staff development to affect changes in practice which enhance the quality of patient outcomes, ensure excellence in customer service and patient care efficiency. Acts as coach and mentor to staff to enhance positive changes in clinical practice behaviors. Exemplifies professional nursing practice through expertise in clinical practice, and education. Participates in the design, implementation, and evaluation of new programs
