Standard Qualifications: Capital Regional is a 266-bed acute-care hospital that offers 24/7 Emergency Services in Leon and Gadsden Counties including; a Pediatric ER, Senior Care ER and an Express Care ER. Offerings also include a Bariatric Center, Behavioral Health Center, Cancer Center, Chest Pain Center w/PCI, Comprehensive Breast Center, Family Center, Heart & Vascular Center, Orthopedic Center, Physical Therapy Services, Seniors First, Sleep Center, Stroke Center, Surgical Services, Wound Healing Center, Network-of-Care Affiliated Physician Practices, and more. Unit Description: The Endoscopy Unit at Capital Regional Medical Center consists of five procedure/treatment rooms, all of which are negative pressure rooms. The Endoscopy unit provides diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic care to a patient population which usually ranges from adult thru geriatric. The in some cases diagnostic care is rendered to pediatric patients. The Endoscopy Unit is staffed by specially trained personnel who assist credentialed physicians in the performance of endoscopic procedures to diagnose, care, and treat patients. Needs of patients, physicians and staff are assessed through a comprehensive Quality Improvement Process. Position Summary: Provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process.
