Standard Qualifications: Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is currently in need of a part time Ultrasound Technologist! The largest medical facility in the region, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a modern, Joint Commission-accredited, 330-bed full-service hospital located in Idaho Falls. Idaho Falls offers a rich variety of outdoor activities with Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Jackson, WY and Sun Valley all within a short drive from our hospital. The Ultrasonographer performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. The Technologist is responsible for patient care, comfort and completion of required procedures. Is also responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients. This position will demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
