Standard Qualifications:   Clinical Resources Director   **Assigned Market: Ambulatory Surgery Division - West Florida **   Work-from-Home position with travel within assigned market.   Position Summary Responsible for working with the Division Supply Chain Team to implement the strategic direction of Supply Cost Management within the assigned market of HCA's Ambulatory Surgery Centers . This position is responsible for reviewing and optimizing the current GPO contract portfolio, developing and executing product standardization with a facility in conjunction with the Division Supply Chain Team. The CRD will be responsible for building strategic alliances with Surgery Center Executive staff with emphasis on the Administrator, Nurse Manager, and Materials Manager, as it relates to successfully executing the Supply Chain Operations Plan.   Essential Responsibilities   Travel within assigned market is required.Develops and implements strategies and processes for reducing supply expense/cost per case.Develops and implements product standardization and utilization in cooperation with facility Materials Manager and Leadership.Collaborates with MM to monitor utilization, cost data and identify waste, through Contract Management (CCM), SIP maximization, ongoing product reviews. Develops and facilitates programs to reduce the number of SKUs by standardization,increase product quality, evaluate processes and introduce new products.Actively interacts with the clinicians performing the departmental tasks to identify improvementopportunities and develop/implement continuous quality improvement process regarding supply/laborpractices and recommends cost reductions.Actively participates and communicates with Medical Staff and clinical staff to monitor, communicate,and make improvements to utilization profiling.Actively participates, communicates and educates all affected departments, physicians, and medicalManages communication regarding product and procedure changes with new supplies.Maintains and communicates financial and performance measurements as gauge ofstandardization/utilization success.Collaborate with physicians as needed, in identifying and implementing improvements and standardization.Measures and continuously verifies process improvements and cost savings.Demonstrates knowledge of occurrence reporting system and assists facility staff to utilize s systems to report potential patient safety issues. Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement"
