Schedule/Shift: 0.001 Variable Shift - PRN/PER DIEM (as needed) Internal Posting Period: 07/10/2017 - 07/17/2017 GENERAL SUMMARY: Social Workers provide psychosocial assessment, group therapy, discharge planning, the role of liaison between the patient, family and physician, and when indicated, crisis intervention. Social Workers collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to enhance quality patient care and to work towards the achievement of optimal levels of patient care and well-being. By making use of social work skills, Social Workers contribute to program development, quality improvement, and problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary.
