Additionally, we have been awarded the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for excellence in total hip and knee programs. OPERATING ROOM SCHEDULER CHALLENGES AND TASKS 1. Utilizes Meditech proficiently for scheduling of surgical patients and in OR charge reconciliation. 2. Assists Charge Nurse or Clinical Coordinator in maintaining efficiency iN OR. 3. Organizes work to complete daily clerical tasks. 4. Communicates effectively with staff, physicians, management, and external/internal customers. 5. Pursues opportunities to enhance personal and professional growth. 6. Adheres to hospital policies and procedures; supports the mission of the hospital. 7. Other duties as assigned. Additional Information about our Operating Room: Main hospital: 4 ORs, 3 Endoscopy Rooms Surgery center: 2 ORs, 1 Endoscopy room, and 1 Treatment Room Surgeries performed include but are not limited to Ortho, General, ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Vascular, and Upper & Lower Endoscopies.
