Standard Qualifications: St. Mark's Hospital's Taylorsville Emergency Department is in need of an Ultrasound Technologist to join their team! Located nearby for people who live and work in Taylorsville, St. Mark's Hospital's satellite ED provides prompt, cost-effective emergency care at the source of need. The Ultrasonographer performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. The Technician is responsible for patient care, comfort and completion of required procedures. Is also responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients. The Technician will demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
