Special Procedures Registered Nurse Full Time Days POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the care of the patient. The nurse in the Imaging Services Department has a dynamic and varied role. The primary goal of the Imaging Services RN is to provide high quality nursing care to the patient within Imaging Services. Skills utilized in their job performance includes; assessment, communication, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement to patients according to hospital standards, recognized nursing techniques, and both clinical and administrative policies. The overall goal of the Imaging Services RN is to provide optimum patient care utilizing nursing process. The nurse will assess, identify needs, plan, implement appropriate interventions, document, and evaluate outcome.
