St. Mark's Hospital is nestled at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains and only a stone's throw away from many national parks, including Moab, Zion, Canyonlands, etc. Position Summary: Responsible to the Director of Surgical Services. Under the direct supervision of the circulating nurse in the room. At this level, the surgical technologist functions independently in all CV/Thoracic procedures. Also serves as a preceptor for new staff. Responsible to rotate call as required by the department. Is responsible for appropriate instrumentation adjustment relevant to the ages and sizes of the patients served, i.e. Adult, and Geriatric.
