Standard Qualifications: Position Title : Director of Trauma Services Swedish Medical Center HCA Swedish Medical Center, Denver, CO . Level 1 Trauma Center Swedish has ,once again , successfully passed ACS Level 1 review in July 2017. So, now is an excellent time to lead the Hospital to improve and grow Trauma services before the next review in 2020. The department team is "Your Trauma Services Dream Team "with many years of experiences and expertise. - American College of Surgeons verified Adult Level I trauma center - Provides comprehensive trauma care to more than 2,200 trauma patients annually - Has a full-service burn and reconstructive center - Rocky Mountain Region's referral center for neurotrauma and opening $50 million Neurosciences Hospital expansion, with dedicated neurotrauma ICU - HealthOne AirLife air medical service Position summary: Supervises daily operations of trauma program. Directs ongoing patient tracking, abstracting, and data entry of trauma service patients into the trauma registry data bank. Supervises transfer of patient data to the state, and TQIP for benchmarking. Responsible for trauma registry data and QA activities that comply with state and national guidelines to include the state trauma rules and regulations, the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma Optimal Guidelines, and Joint Commission criteria. Meets all requirements of The Program Manager at a Level I Trauma Center set by the state of Colorado and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Assists with development and monitoring of the budget. *L1-BL1
