Standard Qualifications: POSITION SUMMARY: The ICU RN at Sky Ridge Medical Center performs and oversees the care of patients with critical illness or injury utilizing the nursing process. The primary nurse leads the collaboration of the multidisciplinary team for well-coordinated patient care that optimize patient outcomes. The RN must possess strong assessment and clinical skills to oversee and care for patients with a multitude of disorders to include, Heart Failure, Respiratory distress, Sepsis, Multisystem Organ Failure, Neurosurgical Procedures, Invasive Cardiac Procedures, Trauma, MI and Strokes. Due to the unique patient population in the ICU setting the applicant must excel at the following skills, interpersonal, communication, leadership, time management, critical thinking and decision making.
