Registered Nurse Same Day Care Per Diem/ PRN Summary: The RN demonstrates independence in planning, organizing, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with the NH Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques, clinical and administrative policies. Essential Functions: Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.Recognize and respond to changes in a patient's condition.Provide assessment and care of the pre-op, phase II recovery, anesthesia block, bariatric and outpatient procedural patients.Demonstrate knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology for child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient Provide safe medication administration including use of venous access devises.Demonstrates proficiency in IV insertion.Assists physician with outpatient procedures using aseptic technique.
