Description
Standard Qualifications: POSITION SUMMARY The Central Processing Technician Lead decontaminates, prepares and sterilizes, supplies and instruments for the operating room and surgery units, and for various other units within the hospital. Assists in the maintenance of all supplies, equipment and instruments related to the OR system. Performs quality control and documentation related to sterilization process. In addition to routine duties the Sterile Processing Tech Lead is responsible for assigning duty stations to other personnel, reviewing quality control paperwork. Dealing with representatives for instrumentation. Communication with other departments. Making decisions on instrumentation and quality control within the scope of the job function.
