Position Summary: Performs a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals, under the direction of an authorized user. Assists with meeting all State and Federal requirements for Nuclear Medicine. Operates diagnostic equipment, and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Is able to provide care for his/her assigned patients. Maintains technical skills, IV competency skills, and is responsible for the use of equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety. Secondary duties include clerical duties, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files and general cleaning. Assist in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment. Adheres to the Rose Code at all times. Adheres to the A.L.A.R.A principal.
