Standard Qualifications: Medical City Las Colinas RN Supervisor PCU/ICU FT Days Position Summary: Excellent critical thinking skills. Ability to mentor staff and charge nurses. Ability to mentor staff and charge nurses. Provides oversight of day to day clinical operations of the ICU/ PCU . Works closely with the Director to ensure performance improvement goals and objectives are accomplished and maintained. The supervisor participates in unit and hospital committees; develops the unit schedule and assists with evaluations and performance ratings. This individual is clinically proficient and able to instruct clinical staff when needed regarding clinical interventions and unit operations. Assists with orientation of new employees. Is skilled as a clinical coach and exhibits team building skills. The supervisor exemplifies the mission of the units and the organization .The supervisor is also responsible for direct patient care two shifts per week.
