Standard Qualifications:   Grow your experience as a leader at our 425 bed Teaching Hospital. Largo Medical Center is designated as a statutory teaching hospital by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. It consists of two campuses which offer one of the most comprehensive complements of services for patients in the Tampa Bay. We are conveniently located in Largo, Florida - south of Clearwater and north of St. Petersburg - with Indian Rocks Beach as our backyard playground. The location makes for a perfect coastal lifestyle! Our latest expansion was in the world of organ transplantation with the opening of the Transplant Institute of Florida offering kidney transplants and hepatobiliary services. We will soon be adding liver transplants as well.  The Manager provides facility oversight for Company Care and Occupational Health Services. Develops and implements systems and program plans to provide integrated services that are compatible with and satisfy the occupational needs of participating facilities and patients served.   Plans and directs effective, ongoing programs to measure, monitor, assess and improve the quality of occupational health care to both internal & external customers. Participates with departments in planning, promoting, and conducting organization-wide performance improvement activities.  Supports hospital initiates in meeting core measures, patient safety and service excellence goals.  Ensures provision of quality care and services by maintaining appropriate equipment and supplies.  Fosters a culture of patient centered care by ensuring a quiet healing environment.  Communicates and interacts with patients, families and others in a caring, empathetic, courteous, and respectful manner.  Ensures patient communication and explanation of care is provided in a way that can be easily understood by patients and their families. Ensures patient family is informed of patient status.  Fosters effective departmental communication and collaboration with physicians and/or other members of the interdisciplinary team in meeting patient needs.  Ensures organizational standards of Occupational Health practice policies, procedures, meet legal, regulatory, recognized professional, quality, patient safety, environmental and infection control standards.  At HCA, we take pride in recruiting and retaining the best professionals in the industry.
