Some of the recent accolades include but are not limited to: Magnet Pathways designated Malcolm Baldrige award recipient Very high patient satisfaction We are seeking an experienced medical surgical supervisor with the skill set to effectively supervise the daily operation of the units night shift. POSITION SUMMARY : This position, under the supervision of the Director, coordinates and supervises the patient care team of RNs, PCTs, and other team members assigned. The Supervisor Nursing Unit (SNU) is responsible for: daily operation of the unit(s), supervision and assignment of all patient care team members, follow through on all clinical issues and verbal discipline/ coaching with follow up documentation. The SNU coordinates performance appraisal data gathering, develops and supervises unit participation in quality improvement, assesses staff need for education and provides hands on patient care coaching. The SNU is responsible to meet all, but not to perform on a daily basis, job duties as outlined in the Registered nurse job description, when require by patient or unit needs, as well as those listed in this job description.
