Description
Standard Qualifications: Medical Technologist PRN Performs chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more functions of laboratory sections. Maintains records of performance as defined in the Laboratory's general and sectional policy and procedure manuals. Ensures that all policies and procedures are performed as defined in section policy and procedure manuals approved by the Medical Director of the Laboratory. The employee performs all services as they may relate to patient care / treatment with consideration for the age/condition of the patient. The employee performs additional tasks/activities as assigned. It is the responsibility of each employee to maximize the resources of the hospital. As a member of the Medical Center of Arlington team, the employee makes a significant contribution to the public's perception of the hospital. The employee performs all services that are necessary for job performance, which include but are not limited to neurological disorders and stroke, oncologic and cardiac services.
