Description
Standard Qualifications: SPECIFIC ELEMENTS 1 Maintains accurate documentation to ensure accountability and accurate, precise charging. 2 Assess, plan, implement and document patient care needs including education, according to hospital and endoscopy policy procedures. Administers medication pre, intra, and post procedure. 3 Demonstrates a high level of technical and operational expertise in performing Endoscopy Procedures. 4 Demonstrates knowledge of reprocessing endoscopes, accessories and automatic washers. 5 Establishes a physical environment conducive to the delivery of safe and efficient patient care. Assumes responsibility/accountability for all coverage, weekly hours worked and assigned committee tasks. Assumes responsibility for professional development through continuing education and inservices. Anticipates and maintains adequate inventory of supplies and medications while controlling costs and eliminating waste. Demonstrates proficiency in hospital information systems to include Meditech. Adheres to hospital policies and procedures; supports the mission of the hospital. 11. Other duties as assigned.
