Standard Qualifications:    Coordinate activities within Invasive Cardiology  Collaborate with physicians to determine department needs and performance/quality issues. Plan annual operational budget and capital expenditures within established guidelines. Provide reports to Administration within established timeframes including, but not limited to department statistics, financial variance analysis. Provide oversight for inventory for assigned areas. Create and implement plan of action in response to identified variances in practice/Operations. Establish and maintain guidelines for practice for assigned areas, utilizing appropriate Resources and experts. Serve as a resource for internal and external customers for issues related to CV and Radiology services. Provide thorough documentation to Administration for new services/equipment requests that clearly outlines risks, benefits, cost, revenue projections and customer requirements. Facilitate development and achievement of departmental goals and objectives on an annual basis. Coordinate personnel activities within departments. Adhere to personnel policies for recruitment, hiring, directing and disciplinary actions for staff. Ensure completion of performance appraisal at established timeframes. Communicate with staff in assigned areas via multiple modalities, to include but not limited To MOX, memo, informal discussion, Staff meetings. Communication to include department /facility changes, policy changes. Plan for and provide educational/development opportunities for staff. Provide constructive feedback for Supervisors/Staff related to performance on an on-going basis. Monitor productivity of departments including, but not limited to achievement of productivity targets, overtime and agency utilization. Modify within limits of available staff/extenuating circumstances. Define the scope of services for respective departments; scope of authority through the Development/update of job descriptions. Gather information from staff via available methodologies and communicate concerns to Administration. Demonstrate/Role model leadership skills Identify changing environment and projected impact on staff, departments and hospital and facilitate staff adaptation to change. Base decisions and actions on data. Participate in committees as appropriate/assigned including but not limited to: Regulatory Standards Committee Safety Committee (or designee) Radiation Safety Committee Section meetings (Cardiology, Radiology, ED and NICU) Research Committee Ensure adherence to regulatory standards; maintain documentation as appropriate. Interface with physician/physician office staff on on-going basis to determine requirements and to ensure meeting needs. Assist with promotional/PR activities as requested related to CV and/or Radiology svcs. Ensure availability of Supervisor/Director for all areas on a 24/7 basis. Maintain effective PI plan for assigned areas of responsibility. Needs to Supervisors, Staff and Administrative team. Serve as a liaison with all facility departments and sales representatives.
