POSITION SUMMARY (includes, but is not limited to): Performs a variety of managerial duties which require a substantial knowledge of Hospital and Medical Staff Services Policies and Procedures, and Tools in Quality Management. As a member of the management team, participates in the development and implementation of hospital-wide plans, goals and objectives. The Quality Manager shall have organizational responsibility for various operational functions in the Quality Department, including but not limited to core measures, survey readiness, regulatory functions and peer review. The Manager shall work at the direction of the VP of Quality in execution of the Hospital wide Performance Improvement Plan.
