This position will play a key part in continuing our success! Centennial Medical Center is currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) - Sarah Cannon Cancer Center - Surgery. Responsibilities: Registered nurses provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurse is responsible for collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limited to: assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs. 1 Assist surgeons in performing operations 2 Works closely with scrub nurse to pull supplies, instruments and equipment needed for specific cases. 3 Anticipates needs of the Surgeon 4 Circulates on cases as needed. 5 Orders supplies for the department 6 Assist OR manager in operational activities of the department.
