With more than 200 GME programs across 21 specialties and 43 hospitals, HCA currently trains more than 2,500 residents and fellows, with that number growing to 5,500 by 2020.   Benefits:   We offer a generous compensation package, including: vacation, 401k, and Medical Insurance.     Job Summary:  The Research Administrator will be responsible for the administration, facilitation, supervision and documentation of all scholarly activity within the department of Graduate Medical Education. S/he will work directly with medical residents, fellows and faculty, and will be responsible for ensuring that all scholarly activity requirements are met, as dictated by the ACGME and Division Research Director. This individual may also oversee a small number of clinical trials and will ensure that all research at Aventura is conducted in compliance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Good Clinical Practice, HIPAA, IRB and HCA Guidelines. The Research Administrator is a professional with the knowledge and skills required to formulate research and quality improvement projects, write & edit grant proposals, conduct statistical analyses, and write & edit scholarly manuscripts.  Duties include but are not limited to:   Facilitating the completion of scholarly pursuits by working directly with medical residents, fellows and faculty.  Ensuring compliance with scholarly activity requirements, as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the Division Research Director.  Tracking data for annual reporting to the ACGME.  Ensuring compliance with federal, state and HCA regulations, policies and procedures in the use of patient data for research purposes.  Contribute to the development of training, tools, and process documentation for GME scholarly activity.  Performing data analyses.  Developing study designs and analytic solutions based on available data sources and timelines.  Tracking and managing multiple projects simultaneously.  Presenting data or analytic findings in a variety of formats (MS Excel, MS PPT, reports, graphs, figures and tables).
