West Hills Hospital was the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Los Angeles County, and also recently received a Certificate of Distinction as a Primary Stroke Center from the Joint Commission. Reports To: Director of Facilities. Summary of Responsibilities: Responsible for providing organization, structure, and training for planning, developing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive Safety and Security Management, Emergency Preparedness and Communication programs. Audits and reports daily, weekly, and monthly statistical data. Functions as the primary liaison with staff in the operation of the various program components. Responsible for organizational compliance with The Joint Commission Environment of Care and OSHA standards related to the programs outlined above. Keeps abreast of and ensures compliance with relevant federal, state and local statues, regulations and reporting requirements.
