The Breast Imaging Center of Excellence at The Women's Center provides mammography services that are gold seal accredited by the American College of Radiology. The Hope Center, a regional, Commission on Cancer approved cancer treatment facility, is conveniently located on the hospital campus and provides over 4,000 treatments with over 300 new patients per year from a ten county region. id Must smile and make eye contact. Assisting in the supervision of nursing unit to provide nursing care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population based upon the nursing process and for which educational background has provided nursing skills. The charge nurse is expected to perform direct patient care when needed, assist with admissions and discharges and supervise the patient care team assigned. The charge nurse other assignments include daily rounds on the unit, physician rounding and assuring patient care is being performed by the team assigned to supervise. Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement. Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers. Promotes a supportive, team-work oriented environment. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of CMC . Responsible for maintaining functional personal telephone and providing Human Resources and department Manager/Director with current telephone number.
