Standard Qualifications: Palms West Labor and Delivery Charge RN Full time Day .6:45A-7:15P .9 Supervise staff during shift Manage admissions and discharges Assesses and recognizes reassuring and nonreassuring Fetal Heart Rate patterns. Reports pertinent changes to charge nurse and/or physician as appropriate Accurately assesses the patient during the fourth stage of labor according to unit standards to minimize complications Accurately assesses, monitors and identifies side effects of regional anesthesia administered during labor and intervenes appropriately Accurately completes initial assessment of the post surgical patient mmediately upon admission to PAC and reassesses during recovery period of LOC Accurately assesses patients prior to discharge from PAC Initiates and accurately completes admission assessment of the neonate immediately after birth
