Position Summary : Under the general direction of the Radiologist and under the supervision of the Administrative Director or Radiology Supervisor, safely performs CT procedures, including CT directed biopsies and drainage. Works within guidelines established in the policy and procedure manual and complies with all radiation safety guidelines. Demonstrates a knowledge of sterile technique and practices universal precautions. Performs associated duties, i.e. processing films, transporting patients when necessary, and assembling all associated paperwork and images to provide the radiologists for dictation. Must be capable of performing in high stress with no loss of the accuracy. Participates in quality control and performance improvement. May assist other areas of Radiology and perform other duties as assigned.
