Standard Qualifications:   For over 45 years, Memorial Hospital has been a leader in providing quality healthcare to Northeast Florida. Memorial Hospital is a 418-bed acute care hospital offering a full line of services, including 24-hour emergency care at three different locations. We feature an accredited Chest Pain Center, certified Stroke Center, dedicated Heart Center, Bone and Joint Center, and Memorial's maternity center, Special Beginnings. We are searching for a Charge RN for a full-time, night shift (7p to 7a) position on our 4 Central, Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. The Charge Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of his/her assigned patients. He/she is also responsible for the supervision of assigned personnel. The position requires intimate knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of nursing care. Interpretive skills, frequent interactive and consultative associates, along with management and supervisory skills are inherent in the position. The ability to retrieve, communicate, or otherwise present information in written, auditory, or visual fashion is essential. The primary method to express or exchange ideas is through the spoken word. Written, telephone, and manual dexterity skills are required for the position.
