CVICU The CVICU at Heart Hospital of Austin is a 14 Bed Unit. Heart Hospital of Austin's structural heart program provides innovative, multi-specialty care for patients with advanced and complex valvular heart disease. A specialized team of cardiothoracic surgeons and interventional cardiologists work together to ensure the best evaluation and treatment plan for each patient. The unit provides care for but not limited to patients recovery of post open heart surgery (1:1), post cardiac arrest (1:1), Vascular procedures, hypothermia, CVVH, VADS, Balloon pump patients.
