Roles & Responsibilities: The Central Sterile Tech manages the provision of sterile supplies and equipment required by the Operating Room, Recovery Room, Emergency Room, Labor & Delivery and patient care departments by cleaning, packaging, sterilizing, and storing. Draws knowledge from all personnel involved and monitors correct procedures as situations occur. Involves general guidance and direction by the Surgical Services Clinical Manager. Works independently with little or no supervision in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
