The Operating Room Technician provides safe and effective patient care through performance of specific duties. Those duties incorporate preparation and instrumentation for a variety of invasive surgical procedures, which He/She performing under the direction of a Registered Peri-Operative Nurse. He/She performs routine scrub duties as well as specific delegated duties which are in accordance with AORN standards and established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
