Standard Qualifications: Position Summary: Responsible for performing all diagnostic radiological procedures in a timely manner. Performs procedures according to physician's orders. As a member of the care team, the Radiology Technologist is responsible for working collaboratively with other members to assure the safe and accurate delivery of patient care. In addition, the Radiology Technologist must be able and willing to cross-train into other appropriate modalities. Under the direction of the Laboratory department, all modalities will be responsible in assisting with the collection of patient specimen(s), the proper labeling of that specimen(s) and the safe delivery to the lab department. Their other duties will include quality control, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance. Work Schedule: Flexible schedules to cover all shifts and weekends, as hospital needs demand.
