Job Description: The EKG/EEG Tech is responsible for administering electrocardiograms and/or Electroencephalograms to patients within the hospital setting and to assist in the daily operations of the department. To effectively communicate with all patients, peers and medical staff to provide the most accurate and timely testing and reporting. This position requires knowledge of the field of Electro-cardiology and/or Encephalograph. Must have interpretive skills and interact/consult with other associates. The ability to retrieve, communicate and express information in a written, auditory and visual fashion. Written, telephone and manual dexterity skills are required for this position. The ability to perform functions under stressful situations is essential.
