Standard Qualifications: Summerville Medical Center is a 94-bed, acute-care hospital with a 24-hour emergency room and comprehensive medical services. Part of Trident Health, the facility enjoys an enviable reputation for its cardiac services , pediatrics and women's services , including "home-like" birthing suites. Surgical services offered include orthopedic , reflux , robotic and weight loss surgeries . Earlier this year we broke ground on a $53 million, 30-bed expansion, the largest in the hospital's history. The project is expected to be completed in late-2018. And with that, we are searching for a new Director of Facilities Management for Summerville, responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and controlling the activities of the engineering department to provide service, repairs, and maintenance necessary to ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the hospital and it's ancillary buildings. The Director will maintain a comfortable, clean environment for patients, employees, medical staff and the public in accordance with policies, procedures, and standards of Columbia/HCA, JCAHO, DHEC, CMS federal regional and state agencies, must be well versed in codes and requirements of regulatory agencies and must be well educated in the use of computer systems, computer drawing systems, and inflectional control standards. He/she will administer construction projects by providing estimates, schedules, etc. #LI-SAD
