Members include approximately 1,600 acute care facilities and more than 26,000 non-acute care sites.  JOB SUMMARY - The CPG Sales Director is a quota bearing sales executive responsible for growing contract revenue across both new and existing members. In full alignment with the VP Sales, the Sales Director will prospect within named Private Equity portfolios and certain independent accounts to sign new members and generate new business opportunities, while assisting with assigned Account Management and up-selling/expanding revenue across existing members. There will be a focus on a certain number of top accounts. The Sales Director role works in collaboration with and support of the VP Sales but will be capable of managing senior member relationships and complex sales initiatives.    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -   Strategic Accounts: The Sales Director will assume responsibilities for managing named Private Equity firms, their portfolio companies, and select Independent or National Accounts. Duties will include strategic relationship development and management, sales strategy execution and process and implementation management for a certain number of specific, top accounts. They will have support to help accomplish this goal New Business Development: By cultivating existing relationships and establishing new ones, the Sales Director will execute on a plan to drive incremental annual contract revenue across his/her assigned accounts. The Sales Director should be prepared to present the CoreTrust story and value proposition to potential new members via conference, webinar or travel when required. Pipeline Management: The Sales Director will be responsible for managing and acting upon a sales pipeline to be organized and updated through xxxxxxxxxxx*. Proactive pipeline management and regular follow-up will be keys to success. Strategic Planning and Implementation: Working with the VP-Sales, the Sales Director will assist in drafting a strategic sales plan to identify key opportunities and necessary steps to drive success. The Sales Director will also be expected to drive the implementation of the plan across their assigned Private Equity Firms and select Independent Accounts.  DUTIES (included but not limited to) -   Account Management: Manages a team whose duties consist of account management, including documentation tracking, member implementation, and on boarding with vendors. Reporting: oversee the preparation of necessary data and reports. Review and analyze for accuracy and outcomes needed. Provide strategies around achieving desired results. Identify, suggest and lead implementation of specific programs, best practices, standards, operational indicators and products & services to support the long-range strategic direction of the organization. Colleague Management & Development: provide direct supervision to assigned Account Managers or Sales Coordinator(s). Responsible for the recruitment, development and supervision of colleagues. Provides leadership necessary to maintain a motivated, productive and competent team through open communication and delegation of responsibilities and authority.
