This is a full time/days position. Responsibilities: The Patient Care Assistant is a certified nurse assistant, who is responsible for assisting in the delivery of direct patient care as delegated by the R.N. The P.C.A. provides quality care to patients in accordance with the Medical Center's policies and procedures. Completes position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within the appropriate period. Demonstrates good skills in all forms of communication. Works well with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Demonstrates an understanding of the Code of Conduct. Maintains education and development appropriate for position Adheres to established Medical Center and department guidelines & protocols. Supports Medical Center's mission, vision and values. Performs position specific job functions at an acceptable level.
