Standard Qualifications: Patient Care Technician/Assistant - PCT/PCA Progressive Care Unit - PCU Work Schedule: Full Time Nights 7pm-7am, with rotating weekends Working under the supervision of a RN, the Patient Care Technician/PCT serves as a member of the healthcare team by providing assistance with activities of daily living for adult and geriatric patients. These include, but are not limited to, personal care, ambulation and general care patient. Documents baseline measurements. Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient. Treats all patients and families with dignity, respect, and appreciation of their lifestyle, language, religion and culture. Supports and promotes an environment that is conducive to quality customer service.
