Description
Standard Qualifications: POSITION SUMMARY: Obtains EEG tracings to access electrocerebral activity in the laboratory or patient's room to aid in the diagnosis of neurological disorders. Technician will be able to recognize and correct or indicate on the tracing, artifactual waveforms, patient movements, electrical interference, and electrodes that exhibit questionable activity. Shares on-call rotation with other staff for emergent studies. The Technician will be responsible for building and maintaining a referral base for all outpatient procedures. The Technician and Director will develop goals to be mutually agreed upon for physician relations and marketing to be monitored by the Director. The technician will participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities and perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
