Standard Qualifications: St. David's South Austin Medical Center provides convenient, comprehensive healthcare and leading-edge services in Women's Health, St. David's Neuroscience & Spine Institute, Oncology, Heart and Vascular, Surgical Services (including da Vinci robotics), Orthopedics and Rehabilitation. The hospital recently underwent a $72 million expansion, and will be the site of Austin's first bone marrow transplant center. The CT Tech provides health care services applying x-ray energy and computer processing techniques to assist in diagnostic or treatment. Performs computed tomography and related procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgement in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient's conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
